Emile NGOM has been an Electrical Engineer since 1991 from the 8th class of the Inter-African Electrical Engineering College (IEEC) in Bingerville in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. From August to December 1991, he completed an internship in all departments of SENELEC (Senegal National Electricity Company).

From 1992 to 1999, he was Head of the Renewable Energy and Power Grid Project Study and Scientific Management Division at SENELEC, and then from 1999 to 2002, Head of Rural Electrification Projects in SENELEC’s Network Equipment Department.

He completed several practical internships in Europe and Japan on renewable energies and their applications, as well as on power grids. In 2002, he joined the Senegalese Rural Electrification Agency (ASER) as Technical Director, a position he held for four years. Since November 2006, Mr. NGOM has been the founder, owner, and Managing Director of SOLUTIONS ENERGETIQUES (SOLENER TECHNOLOGIES), a company offering solutions in the fields of electrical energy production, transmission, and distribution.

As an electrical expert, director, or project manager, he has led the study, supervision, and control of several electrical projects in Senegal and the West and Central African subregions.
